My wife has mentioned it a few times. I don't really want to see it but I keep hearing about how offensive and bad it is and this makes me curious.

My brother-in-law saw it Saturday and said it had a great story/plot. He's 18 and knows everything about the world so I don't exactly trust his assessment.

That's what I remembered hearing. All the hate Twilight gets, I'm stunned that this fact doesn't get brought up more. It's a shitty series of books based on a shitty of books... both of which somehow print money. It's dime novels all over again.
